In Remembrance of Dr. Frances Cress Welsing

Dr. Frances Cress Welsing (1935-2016)

On Saturday January 2, 2016 we  have suffered the major lost of author, psychiatrist, elder, master teacher, and social justice warrior, Dr. Frances Cress Welsing at age 80. Dr. Welsing has a major influence in the field of psychology, starting with the publishing of her essay, ” The Cress Theory of Color Confrontation ” in 1974 and then the publishing of The Isis Papers: The Keys to the Colors (1991).

In both the essay and the book (a collection of 25 essays) Dr. Welsing examines the psychology of white people and the system that benefits them, racism white supremacy. She explained that white supremacy racism is a local, national, and global system created by white people (who are the global minority)  to ensure white people’s genetic survival on this planet. Because of white peoples’ irrational fears of being and remaining the global minority, they lash out at people of color, especially Black People with violence and oppression. Below is a quote by Dr. Welsing herself on her  functional definition of racism (white supremacy):

As a black behavioral scientist and practicing psychiatrist, my own functional definition of Racism (White Supremacy) is as follows:
“Racism (White Supremacy) is the local and global power system and dynamic, structured and maintained by persons who classify themselves as white, whether consciously or subconsciously determined, which consists of patterns of perception, logic, symbol formation, thought, speech, action and emotional response, as conducted simultaneously in all areas of people activity (economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war), for the ultimate purpose of white genetic survival and to prevent white genetic annihilation on planet Earth – a planet upon which the vast majority of people are classified as nonwhite (black, brown, red and yellow) by white skinned people, and all of the nonwhite people are genetically dominant (in terms of skin coloration) compared to the genetic recessive white skin people”.

Francis Cress Welsing MD

The system of Racism (White Supremacy) utililizes deceit and violence (inclusive of chemical warfare, biological warfare and psychological warfare), indeed Any Means Necessary, to achieve its ultimate goal objective of white genetic survival and to prevent white genetic annihilation on planet Earth. In the existing system of Racism (White Supremacy) when the term is undefined and poorly understood there is general confusion and chaos on the part of the victims of that system (local, national and global).  It then becomes impossible for the victims of racism (White Supremacy) to effectively counter the global system of Racism (White Supremacy).

The African enslavement, imperialism, cololnialism, neo-colonialism, fascism, etc., are all dimensions and aspects of Racism (White Supremacy).

I can’t stress enough how Dr. Welsing’s contributions are MAJOR in helping us Black People to understand the system of racism white supremacy, what it is, how it works, and how to counter it. I suggest that each and every one of you purchase her book (if you haven’t already) and study her theories on racism white supremacy so that you will become un-confused as to what is happening, how it is happening, and why it is happening to us as a people and how its imperative to counter it. We must also continue to fight the good fight  and keep the faith (individually and collectively) to eliminate the system of racism white supremacy and replace it with justice….NOW!

R.I.P. Dr. Welsing, You will be greatly missed.

  1. I’m literally crying, after doing a post about her. This Unsung heroine will be greatly missed I only wished I could have gotten to meet her in person. She was so full of wisdom an courage and I hope that those of us who are left behind can draw from that and continue the fight. R.I.P Queen Mother.

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
