It’s not a good way to start off the year. I hope it gets better from here on. We also lost Natalie Cole also. *fingers crossed* LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Yeah bro, we lost some legends and she/heros to start the year off. It’s both sad and scary. At the beginning of each year, I’m excited, but this year is a little different. I’m frightend at what this year will bring since in the last few years racism, sexism, misogynoir, and other forms of anti-blackness is on the rise. I’ve been talking to the ancestors a lot more asking them to protect me and my family as well as getting us as a people through all of this chaos. *sigh* That’s all I know to do besides fight the best way I know how. And I have a feeling the anti–blackness will be cranked up for 2016. Once Obama gets out I think it’s going to get worse for all of us. Get prepared and stay alert. I heard Obama signed some new executive order to take more guns away from people. Scary stuff! LikeLiked by 1 person Yes, she would not want us to give up. I’m gonna really miss her interviews and insight with Gus T. Renegade and others. *sigh* sad face. “And I have a feeling the anti–blackness will be cranked up for 2016. I have to talk to the ancestors to not let fear overtake me and to stay strong in these trying times LikeLiked by 1 person I know it’s hard but keep pushing sis! Stay strong!
